Moving in Greenhills Beach
Greenhills Beach is the newest suburb on the peninsula, a master-planned estate built from 2011 on a former sand-mining site between Cronulla High School and Wanda Reserve, with Marang Parklands alongside it. After the older beachside streets it is a genuinely easy move: the roads are wide and modern, the homes are recent and most have a double garage and a driveway, so the truck parks at the kerb or in the drive and the carry is short and flat. The one thing we plan around is the single way in and out of the estate, which gets busy on warm beach days when the nearby Wanda parking fills, so we time the load to miss the worst of it. It is the kind of suburb where the move is simple if the right truck and crew turn up, so we focus on the things that still matter, protecting the new home and packing carefully, and quote it honestly. Tell us the address and we will book it in.
Reading the access in Greenhills Beach
Every Greenhills Beach move starts with the access, because that is what decides the truck, the crew and the timing. Here is what we plan around:
- The peninsula's newest suburb, a master-planned estate built from 2011 on a former sand-mining site
- Wide modern streets and double-garage homes make truck access easy
- Between Cronulla High and Wanda Reserve, with Marang Parklands alongside
- One way in and out of the estate, busy on warm beach days, so we time the load

Parking and Council permits for a peninsula move
For a standard household move you generally will not need a Council permit on the Cronulla peninsula. We use the legal kerb or a marked loading zone and time the truck to the day, scouting the spot first where it is tight. A Sutherland Shire Council approval applies only when something stands on the road or footpath: a skip bin, hoarding or scaffolding, or a length of kerb set aside as a work zone, which all sit under Council's Approval to Undertake Works on or Near Roads (Roads Act 1993). A crane or elevated work platform working from the road needs Council approval to operate in a public place as well. These carry a fee and a lead time, so check the current cost and how far ahead to apply with Sutherland Shire Council before you book one. In the Cronulla town centre, remember the beachfront kerb runs to a time limit on summer weekends, so we load early.

Greenhills Beach removals: common questions
Is Greenhills Beach an easy move?
Yes, one of the easiest. The estate has wide modern streets and the homes have double garages and driveways, so the truck parks at the kerb or in the drive and the carry is short and flat.
Is there anything to plan around in the estate?
Just the single way in and out, which gets busy on warm beach days when the nearby Wanda parking fills. We time the load to miss the worst of that traffic at the estate entry.
Do you move into a brand-new home carefully?
Always. On a new home the value is in protecting it, so we pad the floors and doorframes, and we can pack and unpack so you settle in without a fortnight of boxes.
How much does a Greenhills Beach move cost?
Our online-quote rates start at $200/hour for two movers and a truck ($250 for three, $400 for a larger crew with two trucks), and you get a clear indicative quote up front for your specific move. No surprises on the day.
